When it comes to creating efficient workouts there is not better organization than the US Military. Fitness is a huge priority in the military. It is hard to imagine a solider who is unfit trying to fight on the battlefield? If this was allowed it would be a disaster. This post is about a new program that is all about military fitness, it is called Combat the Fat. Combat the Fat is written by former military physical trainer Jeff Anderson, and incorporates all of the secrets that military has been hiding from the public.

One of the key things about military training is working out in the morning. This is not a foundational aspect of the program but in encouraged. Training early is great because your body can jump start its metabolism into high gear so that your body is a fat buring furnace all day long.

The second thing huge technique that the military uses to get soliders in shape is body weight exercises. Body weight exercises are amazing because you body sheds weight fast. The reason for this is that your body knows its pushing it own weight and therefore try’s to make the exercise easier by losing body weight. Combat the Fat is based on body weight exercises but really adds some spice to the regular exercises.

Nutrition is the third huge focus in the military. In laymans terms this mean that they are concerned with getting the soliders their optimum amounts of protien, carbohydrates, fats, fiber and calories.
