Let’s face it, if you are asking the question what is the quickest way to lose weight, you are like most people.  You need to lose 20 plus pounds, have lost over 20 pounds quickly in the past, and have gained it all back.  Am I right!  Losing weight quickly always ends with the individual gaining the weight back rather quickly.  A good proven weight loss plan will help you lose weight slowly over time, and that’s the game winner everytime.

What if you just walked out of your family doctors’ office after a check up.  And he just scared the hell out of you.  You’re 40 pounds overweight, your blood pressure and cholesterol are high.  He tells you, you’re a ticking time bomb.  What do you do?  Sounds like it’s time to get serious about your weight.  Start thinking differently about your diet.  You better change your lifestyle.  Getting the right mind set and losing 2-4 pounds a week is what you want to do.

You made the choice.  You are going to lose weight.  Your quality of life depends on it.  Follow the plan, which ever one you have picked.  The plan has been proven and it works.  You researched it remember.  Keep a dairy of what you eat and your weight loss.  Watch how your body responds, some days you may urinate a lot and lose 2-4 pounds in a single day.  Other days you may not lose any weight.  Do not get upset, this is all part of the process.  Follow the plan and remember the long range your thin new happy life. 

Remember the past.  Learn from it, do not repeat those bad eating habits.  If you have to, write down all of the bad habits that made you fat.  Stop them. History must not repeat.  Maintain your weight, if you gain five pounds then restart your diet program immediately.

Once a week celebrate success.  Do something that makes you very happy.  If possible do it with your spouse, family, or friends.  This will reinforce the good you have done so far.  Keep it up.
